EDINBOROUGH KITCHEN ADDITION
Spring kicked off with a bang in 2019 and this was one of our favorite projects!
The lovely homeowners wanted more entertaining space in their kitchen area so we added on about 200 sq. ft. of kitchen/living space over a crawl space which gave them more cold storage as well. The old honey oak cabinets were removed to make room for new painted gray shaker cabinets with an ebony stained island & large buffet. We also found space to add in a 1/2 bath by the garage entrance, and a great sized pantry. If space and storage is what they wanted…that’s what they got!

AFTER: When adding on an addition it is always our goal to make things seem like they were always there. This addition looks like it was always supposed to be there.
BEFORE: OLD HONEY OAK CABINETS.
AFTER: 200 extra sq. ft. for entertaining. We added one more window to match the existing dining window and were able to reuse the kitchen sink window. The new gray painted cabinets are bright without being the usual white that we’ve been seeing. The stained island and buffet are a fun contrast and add TONS of new storage. The new pantry and bathroom make this space function at a whole new level. (The bathroom was snuck into the old recessed pantry cabinet space).
